Katie
Katie started training for flyball in 2001 with her first tournament in Champaign, Illinois. Kate was a real challenge to train, as she wanted to do everything at once - run, bark, chase balls, run with other dogs, and just have fun. It took 3 years to train her, and just when Jesse thought she would never understand, she got it.
Now Katie is a border collie trapped in a sheltie body and a true flyball fanatic. She has tons of drive and just loves playing flyball. At home, the game is "trade" - she will pick up anything, run around the house, and as soon as you say "trade", she drops it for a treat.
